Seasonal

Change this page every three months to focus on timely events your club has been involved with. Maybe you had a Halloween party, a spring fling talent show, or you celebrated winter holidays in a unique 4-H way - having a transitional page like this might be fun!

Remember, part of the reason to have a club blog is to promote the diverse ways 4-H relates to youth and communities. When you "show off" 4-H, you are helping 4-H to grow.

Traditional 4-H is associated with agriculture - and while that agricultural heritage is very special (most people think "farm" when they hear 4-H,) you know that 4-H is much, much more!

4-H means creativity: Photography, graphic arts, theater arts, art and craftsmanship. Fashion, textiles and clothing.

4-H means technology: Robotics, computer science, bogs, html, engineering, building things, learning how things work, the physical world around us, ecological and environmental sciences, bio-technology! GIS and GPS

Yes 4-H means animal science - but besides, pigs, horses, goats and sheep, a 4-H'er can explore the world of rabbits, and yes, dogs and cats!

4-H means the planet we live on. In addition to GPS, look at what this earth provides - flowers, vegetables, herbs, and crops.

4-H means individual growth: Public Speaking, Demonstrations, Citizenship and Leadership.

We've only scratched the surface. As you can see, 4-H is more than "cows and plows." There is something in 4-H for everyone - and by creating a blog, you help advertise that fact and spread much needed information on how cool it is to be involved with 4-H.
